Where to start?
Apr 19 - Attended Scott Church's
Live in London 2.0.
I had been thinking about going to this for a couple of weeks be eventually chickened out because I am not a model photographer; I do outdoorsy stuff. I also had plans for saturday that conflicted with the workshop.
Anyways, my plans fell through on friday night so I was sitting at my computer wondering what I should do when I said, "Ah fuck it. I'm going"... and I'm so glad that I did. The workshop was informative and a lot of fun. My only complaint was that it should have lasted another day. I got to meet some amazing models and I even came away with a couple of good (IMHO) photos (well, to me anyways).
The two downers for the day was that I managed to lose the rubber foot on the bottom of Scott's monopod and I got a parking ticket for 90 GBP.
Oh well....
That night,
TRexchomp and I grabbed our cameras and tripods and hit the city. We got some decent shots and i got another parking ticket (this time, 120 GBP). By the time that I got home it was nearly 4am. Ugh.
Apr 20 - Photo editting
I finally crawled my lazy ass out of bed and started to work on some of the photos that I'd taken. This took me a long time because I was having to learn some new techniques in PS that I'd never had to use before. So each photo took me about 4 hours to work through.... 3 hours of editing and another hour of me staring at it in awe.
Anyways, I'll be posting some images soon. I'm just trying to work through them all so that I can give them to the models. I should have something up by next weekend.
ttfn.
